90-day growth planning worksheet
A printable worksheet for a 90-day practice growth plan: capacity and target set-up, twelve weekly rows for actions and owners, stage counts, and review points at weeks four, eight and twelve.
How to use it
Print this page, one copy per treatment you are growing, and fill it in with the clinician and practice manager. The thinking behind each part is in the capacity-led growth plan. Every figure is yours: there are no targets or averages built in.
Part 1: set-up
| Item | Your answer |
|---|---|
| Treatment to grow | |
| Clinician providing it | |
| Spare clinical hours over the 12 weeks | |
| First limit you will hit (clinician, surgery, lab, consultation slots) | |
| Contribution per clinical hour (your own figure) | |
| Target: treatments started this quarter |
Part 2: weekly plan
One main action per week is plenty. Give each one a single owner and a measure you can check.
| Week | Action | Owner | Measure | Done |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | ||||
| Week 2 | ||||
| Week 3 | ||||
| Week 4 | ||||
| Week 5 | ||||
| Week 6 | ||||
| Week 7 | ||||
| Week 8 | ||||
| Week 9 | ||||
| Week 10 | ||||
| Week 11 | ||||
| Week 12 |
Part 3: stage counts
Fill in at the end of each month. The gap between two rows shows where to act next.
| Stage | Weeks 1 to 4 | Weeks 5 to 8 | Weeks 9 to 12 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Enquiries | |||
| Consultations booked | |||
| Consultations attended | |||
| Written plans issued | |||
| Treatments started |
Part 4: reviews
At weeks four, eight and twelve, answer these in writing:
- Are treatments starting at the pace the target needs?
- At which stage are most people stopping?
- Is the capacity limit from Part 1 still the first one you will hit?
- Which action do you stop, and which do you start, for the next four weeks?
- Did anything put pressure on patients or the team? If so, change it.
| Review | What changes | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Week 4 | ||
| Week 8 | ||
| Week 12 |
For higher-value treatment, the implant and aligner planning guide lists the capacity limits to note in Part 1.
